Mike Tyson arrested at Los Angeles airport after a suspected assault

Boxer Mike Tyson has been arrested after an incident with paparazzi at Los Angeles International Airport.

LA police sergeant Kevin Lowe told The Associated Press Tyson had been arrested, but did not know if it was at the airport.

Tyson spokesman, Tammy Brook, said the boxer was headed to Los Angeles with his wife and son 10 months old when she was allegedly attacked by overzealous paparrazzi.

He was acting in self defense to protect her son, said Brook.
